Comments, ideas?

Should we actually waste time on documenting 1.1?

Another idea would be to skip the version namespaces completely (1.1, 1.2, ...) and instead use the TAG plugin. If you are more familiar with MediaWiki it is like organizing stuff in categories, you tag a page like this, {{tag>1.1 plugin tcl}} and it you can then on another page, like /tag/1.1 automatically list all pages that has been tagged with 1.1.

Namespaces do have an advantage though. I.e. when naming articles we wouldn’t have to care about name collisions between 1.1 and 1.2 articles.

I’d use separate namespaces as well, for the same reason shroud mentioned: no need to have articles like “unset_setting(1.1)” and “unset_setting(1.2)”.

As for documenting 1.1, I think it’s better to concentrate on 1.2 first and if anyone has the spare time to document 1.1 it wouldn’t hurt. Besides maybe some users will care about it, it’s a wiki after all.
