qauth.tcl

If qauth.tcl is loaded (added as source “scripts/qauth.tcl” in your sbnc.tcl), you have three additional commands:

/sbnc set quser <Q AUTH USERNAME>
/sbnc set qpass <Q AUTH PASSWORD>
/sbnc set qx <on|off>

NOTE that your password will be saved as plain text on the server.

If both, quser and qpass is set, it will automatically auth you when sBNC connects to an irc server. It will send the message to Q@Cserve.quakenet.org, even if the network you connect to is not Quakenet. So activate it only if you really connect to Quakenet.

If additionally qx is set to “on”, it will set mode +x (hidden host) on connect.

If loaded, you will see a new menu point in your webinterface. You can use this aswell to set all options. It has to be loaded AFTER iface.tcl.
